SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose

WaterPixels Shop ("we," "us," or "our") operates waterpixels.shop, an e-commerce store for WaterPixels community merchandise. SMS messaging through Twilio is used exclusively for internal administrative notifications to authorized store administrators. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages to customers through this program.

2. Who Receives Messages

Only the designated store administrator(s) who configure their mobile phone number in the WaterPixels Shop admin settings panel may receive SMS messages. Messages are not sent to shoppers, forum members, or the general public unless that individual is also an authorized administrator who has opted in.

3. Types of Messages

Administrative SMS alerts may include:

• Notification of a new customer order (order number and amount)
• Notification of a new contact form submission on the shop website
• One-time login verification codes for admin sign-in (2FA)
• Test messages sent by the administrator to verify SMS configuration

All messages are transactional/operational in nature and relate directly to store management.

4. Opt-In (Consent)

Administrators opt in voluntarily by entering their mobile phone number in the store admin settings at waterpixels.shop/admin/settings and enabling SMS notifications. By saving their phone number and enabling the feature, the administrator consents to receive the administrative SMS alerts described above. There is no automatic enrollment; participation requires deliberate configuration by an authorized admin user.

5. Opt-Out

Administrators may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:

• Disabling SMS notifications in the admin settings panel, or
• Removing their phone number from the admin settings panel, or
• Replying STOP to any message (standard carrier opt-out)

After opting out, no further administrative SMS will be sent unless the administrator re-enables the feature and re-enters their phone number.

6. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on store activity. Administrators may receive zero messages on quiet days or several messages on busy days when orders or contact inquiries are received. There is no fixed schedule; messages are sent only when triggering events occur.

7. Costs

Standard message and data rates from the administrator's mobile carrier may apply to SMS received on their device. WaterPixels Shop does not charge administrators for receiving these notifications.

8. Privacy

Phone numbers configured for admin SMS are stored securely and used only to deliver the administrative notifications described in these terms. We do not sell or share administrator phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS delivery is provided by Twilio, Inc. in accordance with Twilio's privacy and security practices.

10. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of admin SMS notifications after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
